Normally I use it for continuous video.  But interested now and again, to see what a cheppo, can achive, set at highest res for a still photo.  Here&#8217;s me at home, computing &#8230;..<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/homepage.ntlworld.com\/tash.lodge\/Blog_Pix\/WebCam_Tash1.jpg?w=640\"> <\/p>\n<p>Camera on this shot, set for &#8216;millions of colours&#8217;, outside dimensions of 640 x 480.  Auto leveled and &#8216;unsharp&#8217; mask in Photoshop.  Then resaved at 500 across. 72dpi.  <\/p>\n<p>This is all quite a novel way for me to proceed, since almost all my pictures are on b&amp;w negative, or, colour transparency film.  Which is then scanned.  Prefer this way, since no one knows how long a digital image will last. Either on hard disc or CD, and it bothers archivist and historians a little.
