{"id":4790,"date":"2021-07-27T13:47:12","date_gmt":"2021-07-27T13:47:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/alanlodge.co.uk\/blog\/?p=4790"},"modified":"2021-07-27T13:47:51","modified_gmt":"2021-07-27T13:47:51","slug":"dreadlocked-caucasians-demand-to-face-more-discrimination","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alanlodge.co.uk\/blog\/archives\/4790","title":{"rendered":"Dreadlocked caucasians demand to face more discrimination"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cdn.thedailymash.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/20190324213440\/dreads4253.jpg?resize=640%2C401&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"401\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>WHITE people with dreadlocks are not facing as much discrimination as they would ideally like, it has emerged.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Matted hair owners claim that other than being broadly defined as \u2018crusties\u2019 and \u2018trustafarians\u2019 they were going largely unnoticed by mainstream society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>25-year-old Brighton resident Tom Logan, who prefers to be called Boz, said: \u201cI can\u2019t remember the last time someone shouted something in the street, and even then it was something non-commital like \u2018have a bath mate\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cCan\u2019t they see that I don\u2019t subscribe to their stupid materialist values, and am in fact a threat to the status quo?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThese dreads took years to grow, they\u2019re bloody itchy, and right now I\u2019m feeling like it was all a waste of time.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dreadlocked Emma Bradford, aka Trouser, said: \u201cI\u2019ve been able to get a series of jobs, nothing fancy admittedly and mostly in organic cafes but still I\u2019m consistently being treated like a normal, unremarkable person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhich I\u2019m not, obviously, because I\u2019ve got unusual hair and a rusty van with pictures of animals on it. Also I can stay upright on a unicycle for up to three minutes at a time.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She added: \u201cSomeone needs to oppress me.
