FREE FESTIVALS RETURN 10 YEARS ON….<\/p>\n

[very much the same, as those before. but, no one had hade the bottle to publish for some time :-)]<\/p>\n

May<\/p>\n

1st Beltane Gatherings, various locations<\/p>\n

1st – 4th Avon Free Festival, West Country<\/p>\n

June<\/p>\n

21-22nd Stonehenge Acoustic Free Festival – Protest at English<\/p>\n

Heritage’s decision to open the monument on the wrong day!<\/p>\n

Actual solstice on 22nd of June, but officially only open on the 21st<\/p>\n

Temporary Solstice car park open from 00.01a.m. to 4p.m. (last<\/p>\n

admittance 11a.m.) on Saturday 21st. June 2003. Free access to the<\/p>\n

stones (subject to security searches) will be allowed from 2a.m. to<\/p>\n

noon (last admittance?) Saturday 21st. June 2003.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately the Solstice dawn occurs on Sunday June 22nd and we<\/p>\n

intend to protest at the decision to deny access to us with music fun<\/p>\n

and chaos.<\/p>\n

We demand the full restoration of our traditional rights of free<\/p>\n

access to Stonehenge and provision of land for camping while we<\/p>\n

attend the Summer Solstice Celebrations from Saturday 21st. to Sunday<\/p>\n

22nd. June 2003.<\/p>\n

27th + Wish You Were Here Picnic – Ringwood, Hampshire<\/p>\n

July<\/p>\n

11th – 13th Rutland Free Festival<\/p>\n

25th- 28th Green Man Free Festival, Nr Clun, Wales<\/p>\n

August<\/p>\n

15th – 17th Twisted Tree Trunk Free Festival, South Wales<\/p>\n

15th – 17th Silver moon Free Festival, Cumbria<\/p>\n

22nd – 24th Cissbury Ring free Festival, Nr Worthing, Sussex<\/p>\n

29th – 31st White goddess Free Festival, Rough Tor area, Cornwall<\/p>\n

September<\/p>\n

12th – 14th Cloud Nine Free Festival, Ribblehead ?, N. Yorks<\/p>\n

19th – 21st Village Idiots Gathering, Sussex<\/p>\n
