Nottingham exhibition remembers 2003 anti-war actions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This photo is from the exhibition, Regime Change Begins at Home \u2013 Nottingham Opposition to the 2003 Invasion of Iraq<\/em>, which ran from 21 \u2013 24 September at Broadway Cinema in Nottingham, to mark the 20th anniversary of the disastrous invasion of Iraq and the movement which opposed it. Along with images of protests in Nottingham taken by local photographer Alan Lodge, the exhibition also featured leaflets, newsletters and other materials from the period, mostly from the Sparrows\u2019 Nest Library and Archive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exhibition was organised by People\u2019s Histreh (the Nottingham Radical History Group) and the Sparrows\u2019 Nest Archive and Library (which contains tens of thousands of books, journals, pamphlets, zines, leaflets, posters and other items documenting the anarchist movement in the UK and beyond, as well as local radical history): www.peopleshistreh.wordpress.com<\/a> and www.thesparrowsnest.org.uk<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
