{"id":925,"date":"2004-10-22T22:11:00","date_gmt":"2004-10-22T22:11:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tashuk.wordpress.com\/2004\/10\/22\/925\/"},"modified":"2004-10-22T22:11:00","modified_gmt":"2004-10-22T22:11:00","slug":"925","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alanlodge.co.uk\/blog\/archives\/925","title":{"rendered":"Nottingham Stands Together [on gun crime]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>People of Nottingham have held a minute&#8217;s silence to remember schoolgirl Danielle Beccan &#8211; who was shot and killed as she returned home from the Goose fair.<\/p>\n<p>Family and friends of the 14-year-old joined community and church leaders to pay their respects and to call on the city to reject gun culture.<\/p>\n<p>The city&#8217;s mayor said: &#8220;By standing together as a community we will work to make our city safer. Guns have no place in Nottingham.
