Tash at home!
Just messin’ with the webcam. Normally I use it for continuous video. But interested now and again, to see what a cheppo, can achive, set at highest res for a still photo. Here’s me at home, computing …..
Camera on this shot, set for ‘millions of colours’, outside dimensions of 640 x 480. Auto leveled and ‘unsharp’ mask in Photoshop. Then resaved at 500 across. 72dpi.
This is all quite a novel way for me to proceed, since almost all my pictures are on b&w negative, or, colour transparency film. Which is then scanned. Prefer this way, since no one knows how long a digital image will last. Either on hard disc or CD, and it bothers archivist and historians a little. Where as, I KNOW photographic materials can last [so far] up to 160 years.!
