7E ‘Talking Head’ Video Phone for the lone reporter

There is a growing trend on the news, from distant locations, to send a reporter with a small suitcase containing compact equipment. This enables a ‘talking head’ in front of a sceen type shot. Unlike all the kit, normally implied, and with the attendent crew. This can be operated by the individual. The picture is a little pixilated still. But having seen reports on CNN and BBC from Afghaistan and the like, it adds much imediacy to the situalion, quality being of less importance.
